New commercial developments in metropolitan cities have been on the rise, resulting in more uniformity and less variety around town. In this type of environment, most new stores are filled with exactly the goods you would expect to see. I have always thought about creating a more personal and unique shop in a standard commercial shopping complex - a daring attempt at something experimental and edgy.
For example, it would be great to bring in a vintage camper trailer and set it up as a flea market of something similar in the middle of the shopping center.
This type of endeavor could become one's personal motivation, one's drive - that's the kind of shop I want to start. That's why I develop product lines based primarily on expression of personal things as well as on experimental ventures.
I think that this type of shop, located inside a run-of-the-mill commercial shopping complex, has the potential to become a highly personal store that you won't find anywhere else in the world.
